Debbie Billings
Senior Certified Pilates Instructor
Debbie began her Pilates journey in 2000 when the health club she attended added
Pilates mat classes to the group exercise schedule. After a few classes she was hooked,
and after about a year, began taking private lessons in order to fine tune her form and
experience the various Pilates apparatus. Her passion for Pilates grew, and in 2005
she entered the Peak Pilates Teacher Training program and completed her comprehensive
Certification. Debbie will also be completing her Authentic Pilates Certification through the
New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program beginning in 2010.
Debbie has been teaching at Joe's Place-True Pilates since 2005 and is our Senior
Instructor. Currently, her life is organized around teaching and practicing Pilates. She
believes that working within the classical Pilates tradition is the best way for clients to build and maintain a strong core, improve flexibility and balance, create stronger and leaner muscles, strengthen bones and increase energy.
Debbie plans to practice and teach Pilates well into her old age, and hopes to improve the quality of her clients' lives by passing on her understanding of the classical Pilates system.

Lyn Wilkinson
Certified Pilates Instructor
In a career that's included co-owning an award-winning design/build company,
managing a chain of NAPA auto parts stores, teaching scuba diving, selling industrial
propane gas on the docks of Port NJ/NY, and managing a western US sales territory that
spanned to the islands of Guam and Saipan - Lyn Wilkinson is relieved to be a Pilates
Instructor.
Mentored by 2nd Generation, Romana's Pilates Certified teacher, Joy George-Bryden,
Lyn became a student at Joe's Place-True Pilates because her back hurt , she couldn't do a
sit-up, and Oprah had bared her (then…) beautiful obliques on a magazine cover and
credited Pilates.
Transforming her body from a size 14 to a size 6 with no other changes in diet and exercise (while having fun!) was a visibly life-changing experience for Lyn. Pilates teacher training seemed a natural progression. In 2008, she entered the Peak Pilates Teacher Training program and completed her comprehensive Certification. Lyn will also be completing her Authentic Pilates Certification through the New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification Program beginning in 2010.
Lyn views her keys to success as striking a balance between “prior planning prevents poor performance” and “when you ask life for an adventure, it's best to expect the unexpected."

Pam Hague
Certified Pilates Instructor
Pam Hague graduated from Keene State College with an associates degree in Early
Childhood Development. Her love for teaching young children began when she was a
student at the Orleans Academy studying Ballet. Pam continued dance throughout her
childhood and into college. After graduating, Pam moved to Newton where she began
teaching and continued her dance education at the Boston Ballet. After starting a family,
Pam began teaching at the new England Academy of Dance in Attleboro and later taught
and performed at Showcase Dance Productions in Wrentham, MA.
Pam is a Certified Pilates instructor and dance teacher. She developed her passion for
Pilates while in New York attending dance classes that incorporated Pilates. Once she found Pilates, she continued to study the Pilates method and integrate it into her dance classes. After doing study and training in the Stott and PhysicalMind methods of Pilates, Pam found her preference was for traditional Pilates and completed her classical Pilates certification with Power Pilates in Boston.
Pam joined the staff of Joe's Place-True Pilates in 2007, and plans to continue advancing her education in Pilates by completing her Authentic Pilates through the New York Pilates Studio® Teacher Certification beginning in 2010. She is also currently at work on the development of a local dance program for children and adults.
