We offer the highest quality Pilates instruction available, based upon the system of exercises and philosophies originally developed by Joseph H. Pilates – what is today called True Pilates. We adhere to True Pilates principles and guidelines, and we maintain our Certifications and training with participation in regular continuing education in authentic Pilates, as well as attendance at conferences that present ongoing development. At Joe’s Place-True Pilates you will receive individual attention from a classically-trained, fully-certified instructor who understands how to tailor a workout specifically to your body and capabilities, and you will enjoy working in an atmosphere defined by energy and professionalism.
Pilates is not just another training technique, it is a way of life that allows you to move with confidence and assurance, and without pain. We teach our clients the True Pilates system in order to help them enjoy ease of movement and muscle balance, as well as strength and flexibility to improve their health & fitness and enhance the quality of their lives. And our skilled instructors are able to design a program for clients at all levels, from the novice exerciser to the seasoned athlete and dancer.
Our studio has a warm, welcoming atmosphere in a lovely, comfortable setting with plenty of windows and light. And our friendly, caring staff is passionate about Pilates and dedicated to preserving the integrity of the Pilates method. At Joe’s Place-True Pilates we practice and teach the True Pilates method as taught by Joseph H. Pilates and carried on by his protégé Romana Kryzanowska, and Pilates Elder Jay Grimes.
